01Design the reading rhythm
Trim size, margins, type, running heads, and chapter openings work together. We prepare sample pages first so you can approve the visual direction before the full manuscript is set. Tables, footnotes, poetry, and image-heavy content require specific treatment.
02Prepare print and digital separately
Print is composed around a fixed page. A reflowable eBook adapts to a reader’s device and type settings. We build the appropriate structure for each, including a linked contents page and consistent heading hierarchy. Fixed-layout requirements are discussed separately.
03Check the exported edition
Final files are reviewed for page flow, image placement, navigation, and platform requirements. You receive a proof to review before approval. Text changes after layout may affect pagination, cover spine width, and cost, so a stable manuscript makes production smoother.
